Taking Mode
The mirror raise up, lens diagram goes into pre-set aperture, shutter
curtain open. |
Almost modern 35mm SLR cameras, came with those features below:
- Auto Return Mirror. The
mirror flips up -quiet, lightning fast- for the exposure and then
instantly springs back to focusing-viewing position. The image
seen like you flip your eyes lids. The action is positive and
complete even with the camera held and used upside down.
- Auto Lens Diaphragm. The
lens is always wide open for focusing and viewing. But at the
instant the shutter released, the diaphragm automatically closes
down to selected taking aperture, and then , instantly, re-opens
to it maximum wide aperture.
